The House of Wonders is a new online magazine for the global internet community.
The name that we chose has a double meaning:
Firstly, the House of Wonders is the world we live in, our planet, that is full of wonder and beauty despite all the problems the Earth is facing.
Secondly, the House of Wonders is also our website itself which is meant to be a home for all of you out there who want to share with us your travels, your amazing experiences around the globe and the wonderful encounters with humans and animals that you have had.

We will publish articles from everyone around the world who has something to say about the endless beauty and the countless problems of our world. Most people are interested in a certain subject, some are fighting for years against illegal whale hunting, others have been in Rwanda to help save the gorillas, others know a lot about melting glaciers or child soldiers. We must share our information in order to make a change. Information is powerful. Anyone can give information to others. And we are many.

In this first edition we selected four extremely interesting articles.
You will learn that Ethiopia - which has been in the news for many years as one of the poorest countries in the world - has a lot of new projects going on that truly aim to make a change.

You will read about the endangered orangutans in Borneo and about one of the most famous rehabilitation centres for ex-captive orangutan which helps them to make their way back to the jungle.

Or are you more interested in women's issues in India? Have a look at our article about the country's struggle for more equality and women's rights.

And last but not least we have an interesting report on Rabat, the capital of Morocco, that is often excluded from the usual tourist trail - although the city is full of wonders and unexpected beauty.

This is the beginning af a new exciting adventure where we don't only talk about the problems in the world, but start to share solutions and spread positivity and optimism.
